Twice monthly visits to Wesley Acres brings friends of different generations together. Sometimes the group plays bingo. The school bell times at Greenwood will change with the beginning of the 2018-19 school year. Our new start time is 7:30 AM and we will dismiss at 2:25 PM, with a 75 minute early dismissal on Wednesdays. Beginning in August, all schools at DMPS will have new hours. The new hours at our school will be 7:30 AM to 2:25 PM. We want to recognize our students for being RESPECTFUL, RESPONSIBLE, SAFE, and CARING! Our student advisory team sponsored our first school spirit event this year, Mismatch Day. Students were encouraged to wear mismatched clothing. They could wear stripes and spots or animal print with floral print. They could even just wear two different socks. It was game day and members of the Roosevelt football team, cheerleaders, and Coach Link stopped by Greenwood. The student athletes answered questions, read with students, and participated in classroom activities. The Greenwood students were excited to see the players and cheerleaders in uniform!
