My name is Jessica Nelson. I serve as a special education teacher for Greenwood Elementary School. I started my teaching career in special education at an elementary in Waterloo, IA, then onto an elementary school in Rochester, MN. I have taught at Greenwood for one year and truly love it. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with literacy and special education minors from the University of Northern Iowa.
My husband, Michael, and I live in Clive. We are expecting a little girl in November of 2017. In my free time, I love to read, go to the movies, and spend time with my family. I enjoy all of the adventures that occur during a school day as a teacher and look forward to more and more adventures!
