Greenwood will be hosting our first crayon collection in support of “Love Where You Live” month by collecting unwanted, broken or damaged crayons. Please send crayons to your child’s classroom starting February 12th and continuing through February 28th so that they can be recycled into new crayons.

Greenwood students are shown at the Iowa Capitol waiting for the start of Governor’s Branstad’s Condition of the State address. The Governor invited the students and introduced them during his speech after he visited Greenwood last month to unveil a new STEM initiative.
Governor Terry Branstad stopped by Greenwood Elementary School today to launch a new public awareness campaign by his STEM Advisory Council.
