My name is Elisha Crow. I love teaching preschool! I have been teaching in Des Moines since 2012. I graduated from Wartburg College with an Elementary Education degree and an endorsement in Early Childhood. I received my masters from Drake in 2019 in Culturally Responsive Leadership and Instruction and a reading endorsement. . In my free time you will find me hanging out with my husband and daughter Elliotte, going on runs, and spending time outside!

I have my Elementary Education degree with Early Childhood endorsement. I spent 14 years running a daycare, 3 years teaching Pre-K, and 1 year as the building substitute here at Greenwood. I am the mom of 6 boys who all attended Greenwood. I love being outside, gardening, hiking, and watching my boys compete in cross country, track, and baseball. Go Riders!

Hi! My name is Kristin Maahs and I am a Preschool Teacher Associate. I have a bachelor’s in music from University of Northern Iowa and mostly perform harp in the Des Moines area. In the fall of 2022 I was at Mitchell Preschool in a Head Start classroom. Before working in the Des Moines I worked for 11 years in the West Des Moines Community Schools’ Preschool as a teacher associate. I live near the Waveland Golf Course with my husband Ray and cat Luna. I have a daughter and two stepdaughters along with my son and his wife. I am a proud grandma of three amazing grandchildren. I love to bike, hike and travel.

Hey, everyone! I’m Miss Kevin, and I started out as a sub in the district in 2022. During that time, I had the chance to work with kids in preschool, elementary, middle, and high school. I also had the chance to work with kids in transition, meaning those on track to age out of the school system. My final tour of duty as a sub was here at Greenwood and the following week, I became a teacher associate, here for the long haul. I look forward to contributing to the next chapter of the story of your students’ education!
