The Woodchuck Word: A Greenwood Elementary Monthly Parent Newsletter
Review the monthly newsletters for important information and updates on all things Greenwood! These monthly newsletters include school events, opportunities for students through community activities, lunch menus, parent information and more.
Greenwood Elementary is raising money to purchase enrichment club materials and programming to enhance and build upon students’ extracurricular interests within the school day. Donations will be used to purchase supplies and equipment that students need to participate in clubs: such as hand tools, modeling clay, hairstyling tools, dance instructors, roller skate rentals, game equipment, sports equipment, baking supplies, etc. Student enrichment clubs are driven by student interests and facilitated by Greenwood staff, with the goal of bringing in guest speakers, skilled trades professionals, etc. A tax-deductible donation letter will be provided by Greenwood Elementary for all donations. If you’d like to donate, click HERE.
Student Enrichment Clubs occur every Friday from 1:45-2:30pm. These clubs provide opportunities for students to engage in activities of interest, collaborate with peers outside of their classroom, and build positive relationships with staff throughout the building. If you have a skill or trade you’d like to share with our students, please reach out to Mrs. Inman.
